The World Fire Safety Foundation is a not-for-profit, Australian-based global organisation.  The Foundation is dedicated to saving lives by exposing the flawed scientific testing of the ionization type of smoke alarms installed in hundreds of millions of homes around the world and promoting the safe and affordable alternatives.  We do NOT sell or endorse any brand of products.

All suppliers listed on this website only sell products consistent with the World Fire Safety Foundation’s policy (i.e. to NOT recommend, endorse or sell any product containing ionization technology including combination ionization/photoelectric smoke alarms) and to always promote the Foundation’s educational materials for installing the right number as well as the right type of fire safety equipment in residential dwellings.
